A truly wonderful week in Allerona, Umbria. The village is charming, friendly and welcoming. From Etruscan excavations, wine tasting and truffle hunting to thermal spa relaxation and delicious food - we packed in so much and yet it was a fabulously relaxing week. Liz thought of everything and the trip surpassed all expectations. I look forward to my next adventure with Villagio Tours.

We were looking forward to this trip as being something a little different and the trip exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a full and varied itinerary. The hospitality we received throughout the trip was overwhelming. We can only praise the thought and organisation that had gone into the trip. It provided a rare opportunity to gain an insight into life in a beautiful Umbrian hill top village and to see some of the wider attractions.

We had a wonderful time during our week in the charming village of Allerona and the beautiful Umbria countryside. We enjoyed great food, went on interesting tours of scenic and historic locations in the area, and really liked the experience. The people we met were very friendly and made us feel welcome in a most relaxing way. The expertly designed and appointed Guesthouse was a joy to stay in. The second part of the trip was three days in Rome, where we were expertly guided through some of the highlights of the city. It was a great introduction to a remarkable city. Once again we were treated to excellent food and had very nice accommodations. This is a tour that we would happily recommend to anybody, both for first-time visitors to Italy (as I was), or to more experienced travelers who are looking for a unique experience.

This is the ultimate experience in the heart of Italy! From the accommodations at Six Keys, to the delicious food and wine, it could not have been better! The best part was meeting and interacting with the people of Allerona. We had cooking lessons and indulged in local wine. We went truffle hunting, immersed ourselves in thermal baths, and hiked the glorious countryside of Umbria, Italy. Liz had everything planned and her attention to every detail of our experience was outstanding. After our time in Allerona, we were transported to the eternal city of Rome, where Liz had arranged excellent accommodations and knowledgable tour guides. We will never forget our fabulous time with Villaggio Tours!

This trip to Umbria was absolutely first class! The accommodations at the guest house were luxurious, including an en suite bathroom. The excursions were well planned and staffed, and we learned a lot about the area. Of course, the food was magnifico! Liz and Paulo run a truly world class small tour operation.
